BEACH Hotel hold a commanding four-point lead over their nearest rivals heading into the business half of the City and Suburban A-grade cricket season.

Incredibly, Beach have sailed through the first half of the season undefeated and will be hoping to take another step towards the minor premiership when they play Seven Seas Pirates today at Islington Oval.

Lambton Bowling Club are in second place and play Cardiff Panthers today at No.2 Sportsground.

Cardiff have slipped to equal fourth with Phoenix Sports, who play Dora Creek Workers at Dora Creek Oval.

In today's other game, Warners Bay play Elliotts Lambton at Seaman Avenue Oval.
