A WOMAN in the US has filed a lawsuit against two paparazzi and the photo agency allegedly responsible for the video of Heath Ledger at a West Hollywood hotel room allegedly using drugs.
The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court by the freelance reporter, alleges two paparazzi lured Ledger to the woman's room at the Chateau Marmont Hotel on January 29, 2006. It alleges the pair gave him cocaine and secretly filmed the Australian actor. The lawsuit names Splash News, managing partner Gary Morgan, and paparazzi Eric Munn and Darren Banks, whom the lawsuit says the woman was "occasionally dating". Her claims include fraud and negligence. Ledger, 28, died on January 22 in his Manhattan apartment from an accidental overdose of multiple prescription medications.
